I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE  Fall….with it’s crisp air, beautiful leaves, fresh apples and sales on chunky sweaters…….WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE?????

One of my all time favorite fall snacks is baked apple chips….YUMMMMMM!!….  They are so easy to make its SCARY and with only 3 ingredients(yup, that’s it) also a great healthy snack.

Let’s get started!!!!!

Baked Apple Chips

Prep time 10 min -Cook time 2.5-3Hrs

What’s in it?

  • 2 x Apples (I used Red delicious)

    Only 3 ingredients and I forgot the lemon in the picture…DOH!

  • Cinnamon
  • 1/2 a lemon

What else do I need?

  • Parchment Paper
  • 2 Baking Sheets
  • 1 Med Bowl
  • Mandolin slicer

How do I make it?

Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

Thinly slice apples -I used a mandolin but, I am sure that you could use a knife and cut thin slices too!  Place slices in bowl and lightly toss with the juice from half a lemon.

Place slices on baking sheet and lightly sprinkle with Cinnamon.  Bake @ 200 degrees for 2 hours.  At the end of the first hour flip the slices over to ensure even baking.  Check on them every 30 min after the 2hr mark ..once they are nice and crispy take them out!

Can you not tell these apple chips were made with LOVE??!!??
